The website www.vintagecava.gr is the online store, and constitutes the online presence of the company under the name “GEORGIOS MAKESTAS S.A.” (Tax number 094205263, DOU RHODOS & LOAD Number: 71613520000). The headquarters of the company is located at FOTI KONTOGLOU-KANAMAT street, 85.100, RHODES – GREECE.

The owner of the website www.vintagecava.gr (hereinafter the “website”) offers its services under the following terms of use. The visitor/user of the website pages is invited to carefully read the following conditions and to visit/use the website pages/services only if he fully accepts them. Existing as well as any new services included on the website are subject to these terms of use, unless expressly stated otherwise.

 

 

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

The owner of the website disclaims any responsibility related to the limited duration, deletion, poor performance or inability to electronically store any user data and/or any content of personal pages/services. We make every effort to ensure that the website is safe for users, but we do not guarantee that any program or information on it is free of harmful codes, viruses or other elements with the potential to be destructive to the user’s/visitor’s computer system. Any copying, distribution, transfer, modification, creation of derivative work or misleading the public about their real provider, of the Website Content is prohibited. Users accept that they will make lawful use of the online store. Therefore, they agree that they will not use the company’s online store for:

ORDERING PRODUCTS AND CONSUMER PROTECTION

Placing an order through the e-shop constitutes the conclusion of a distance sales contract regulated by the legislative framework of Law 2251/1994, as amended.

You can place a valid order through the e-shop if you are legally competent in compliance with the articles of the Greek Civil Code, (as long as you have completed the eighteenth year of your age and are not legally bound to enter into a sales contract). Orders can also be placed by representatives of legal entities, while the company reserves the right to claim from the supervisor or guardian any orders that will be made by legally incompetent persons.

 

 

PRICES

The prices are indicated in euros and include the applicable VAT. The prices do not include transport costs, nor any taxes, duties or fees, which may apply at the place of shipment, for the payment of which the recipient is responsible.

The online store www.vintagecava.gr reserves the right to change the prices of the products as they are formed daily based on the price lists of the suppliers, whenever it deems it necessary and without prior warning, by only announcing them through its website. The final price of a product is determined on the day of its pricing.

All prices are available on the company’s website subject to typographical errors or pricing

All orders are accompanied by an invoice or retail receipt detailing the products, quantities and all charges (VAT, any excise duties, any shipping costs). In the case of a gift, the order is accompanied by a delivery note showing the products and quantities, but not the prices. The gift’s invoice or retail receipt can be sent to the customer by email, fax, or mail. The company keeps a copy of each invoice or retail sales receipt on file.

GOVERNING LAW AND OTHER TERMS

This specific user agreement is governed by the provisions of Greek Law, the directives and Regulations of European Law and the relevant International provisions, and is interpreted based on the rules of good faith, commercial ethics and the economic and social purpose of the right.

If any provision is deemed to be contrary to the law and therefore invalid or voidable, it automatically ceases to be valid, without in any way affecting the validity of the other terms. No modification of the terms of this contract shall be considered and shall not form a part hereof unless expressed in writing and incorporated herein.

The company reserves the right to unilaterally modify or renew the present terms and conditions of transactions, made through its online store, in accordance with its needs and business ethics. vintagecava.gr undertakes the obligation to inform users of any modifications as well as any change, via the website of this online store. It is clarified that the change of terms does not affect orders that you have already placed.

Competent courts for any disputes arising from this contract are the Courts of Rhodes.

 

 

METHODS OF ORDERING

The customer can order the desired products via the website www.vintagecava.gr or via e-mail at info@vintagecava.gr. When the customer orders online, he fills in his own information on the corresponding order form. Please re-read the bulletin before completing your order. The company is not responsible for any incorrect e-mail sending nor for any error during the shipment of the products due to the incorrect completion of the order form by the customer.

In any case, please ensure that you provide us with correct contact information (name, phone).

Telephone communication is necessary for large/bulky orders of more than 12 bottles or for high value collectible bottles so that direct consultation can ensure you the best possible service and the most advantageous transport solution.

 

 

ORDER CONFIRMATION

After you have placed your order, you will receive a confirmation e-mail with all the necessary information. This means that your order has been successfully registered in the systems of vintagecava.gr. For telephone orders, if you have not given us an email, confirmation will be made by telephone.

 

 

PAYMENT METHODS

For the convenience and service of all those who wish to buy from our online store, www.vintagecava.gr offers you the following alternative payment methods:

 

 

A. By debit, credit or prepaid card (Visa / Mastercard). In the (secure) order form, fill in all the necessary fields (card number, expiry date and issuing bank). 

It is important to provide a contact phone number and a valid e-mail address. Your credit card is charged on the day the products are shipped.

Your transactions in our online store are protected by the highest online security systems (SSL-128 bit and digital certification by Verisign, Inc.) which guarantee a secure transaction environment in more than 500 of the world’s largest companies.

Credit card transactions at Vintage Cava are cleared by Eurobank.

 

 

B. By bank deposit of the exact amount to the following account stating the full name/surname and/or the no. order:

In case of a transfer from a different bank, the transfer costs are charged to the customer.

The order will start executing immediately after the deposit is confirmed.

It is necessary to receive the proof of deposit (from the bank or from web-banking), by replying to the order confirmation email.

If we do not receive it, the process to confirm the order may take from 1 to 5 working days, depending on the bank’s remittance policy.

If the deposit is not confirmed within 5 working days, the order will be automatically cancelled.

 

 

C. On delivery at the Vintage store, 29 Alexandrou Diakou in Rhodes on the next working day if the order is paid. In this case you are not charged shipping costs.

With regard to orders in which “Bank Deposit” or “Collection and payment in store” has been selected, they are considered active for the next 5 working days from the date of their confirmation.

After the end of 5 working days, if they have not been paid, the reservation of the products participating in these orders is cancelled.

The store does not accept Paypal and American Express.

 

 

RETURN POLICY

If, for any reason, you receive something that is not what you ordered, we are committed to correcting it immediately at no charge.

 

 

RIGHT OF RETURN

You have the right to return the products you ordered and received within 14 days. The products must be in the same condition as when you received them together with their accompanying documents (receipt, invoice, etc.). In this case only, we will give you a full refund minus the shipping and return costs. Returns for cases of discrepancy in the photo, damage to the packaging of the bottle or its box as this occurs during shipments and does not affect the product each of these are accepted minus the shipping and return costs.

Order cancellation

At VintageCava.gr we accept the cancellation of an order without charge for the customer if the order is canceled before it is shipped. In case of cancellation after it has been sent and before its delivery, the customer is charged only with the shipping and return costs in full.

RETURN OR CANCEL ORDER WITH FREE SHIPPING

In case of cancellation of an order after it has been sent, or return of an order that has been made with free shipping, the customer is charged the shipping and return costs in full that have been charged to our company by the shipping company.

NON-RECEPTION OF ORDER

In the event that the order is not received by the customer after it has been sent for any reason and is returned to our facilities, the customer is charged the full shipping costs for resending the order.

 

WHOLESALE

Orders invoiced at wholesale prices by VintageCava.gr are non-refundable.
