What are the shipping/delivery methods and times?

Orders are delivered throughout Greece to the address you indicate to us. You can also pick up your products yourself without shipping charges from the Vintage store, 29 Alexandrou Diakou in Rhodes on Sunday – Monday. / 15:30 – 22:00 & Tue. – Sat / 10:00 – 23:00. With regard to orders in which “Pick up and ship in store” is selected, they are considered active for the next 5 working days from the date of their confirmation. After the end of the week, the reservation of the products participating in these orders is cancelled. Delivery times for orders are limited to 5 working days.

 

What are the shipping costs?

The cost of transport is determined by the weight, i.e. the quantity and type of the products, and by the delivery address. Before completing your order, the system informs you about the cost of each option. For bulk orders (from 6 bottles or more) or for bottles of high collectible value, it is better to consult by phone first so that we can recommend the safest and most advantageous solution for you. Shipping costs can be zero in the following cases: – When indicated in the product description (applies only to shipments in Greece). -For pickups from the Vintage store, 29 Alexandrou Diakou in Rhodes.

 

What happens in case of your absence when trying to deliver the order?

In case of your absence during the first delivery attempt, the employee of the courier company leaves a written notice of the date and time of the second delivery attempt. If the date and time of the second delivery attempt is not convenient, you can arrange it by phone with the courier company. The second delivery attempt is made at no cost to the customer. If you are also absent during the second delivery attempt, you can arrange by phone with the courier company for a third delivery attempt which will be charged to the customer.

 

What happens in case of delivery delay?

If your order has been delayed beyond the estimated delivery times, please contact us and we will do our best to serve you. Our company is not responsible for any delays in the delivery of the ordered products that are not due to its fault or constitute force majeure events such as extreme weather events, strikes, etc. If you wish to be informed about the progress of your order, you can send the request to info@vintagecava.gr stating your order number, name and a contact phone number (preferably mobile).

 

What happens if the package is lost?

In case of lost package, vintagecava.gr will resend the order at no cost to you.

 

What is the procedure for receiving the order?

All orders are accompanied by an invoice or retail receipt listing the products and charges. In cases of gifts, the accompanying form is a delivery note where prices are not indicated. So you have the possibility to check upon receipt that everything is in order. Any reservations or observations should be noted on the delivery slip by the courier company employee. Then, you will be asked by the courier company to sign the delivery slip. Please DO NOT receive packages that do not have the special Vintage security tape or if it is torn.

 

Do I have a right of withdrawal?

Of course you have the right of withdrawal. If you wish to cancel or change an order that: – has not yet been shipped, you notify us immediately by phone so that we can correct it or cancel it directly. – it has been sent, but you have not received it, you notify us immediately by phone so that we can correct it or cancel it directly. – has been received, you must contact us by phone within 14 days so that we can arrange the return of the products at your expense. In this case we can either make a change to the products you ordered, or refund their value.

 

What happens if the company makes a mistake in the order (eg something is missing from the order, the wrong bottle, etc.)?

Each order is accompanied by an invoice or receipt of retail sale or, in the case of a gift, by a shipping slip in which the prices are not shown, but the items and quantities are shown in detail. Please do a quick check upon receipt that the items and quantities are in order. If there is a problem, it should be noted on the delivery note from the carrier and they will let you know so that the problem can be resolved at no cost to you. Please DO NOT receive parcels that do not have the special Vintage security tape or if it is torn. If you wish, of course, you can also contact us within three days and we will do our best to serve you.
